Unsatisfactory service by Etisalat call centre

These telecommunications operators are becoming unbearable these days particularly MTN. This their SIM registration saga is a very terrible one as customer care attendants treat the angry and already stressed customers like shit.

Just yesterday, my friend had a tiring experience trying to get to talk to a customer care representative.  As a hustler na,  he wasn't given the free 15mb that comes with recharging 200 Naira every new week.

He dialed 200, which is their call centre number. After following  the normal language option, he waited and tried several options waiting for the option to speak with a representative but to no avail.

In the end, he had to use Google to search a way to do this.  Having found one, he had to press series of numbers and go through various voice prompts till he was able to get to them.

I must confess, this is totally dis satisfactory and stressful. Normally, the first series of voice prompts should have an option to speak to a representative.

In any way possible, I'll like this to get to the right channel and Etisalat should please work on this.
     Thanks

The First Month of the Year

January, as known to all is the first month of any year. Here is a brief history you probably didn’t know about THE FIRST MONTH OF THE YEAR.

The Name January was derived from a Roman god called Janus. The Month of January originally had 30 days, however Julius Caesar added one more day to the month of January that is why there are 31 days in the month of January.

The month of January was also known as the "wolf month" to the Anglo-saxons. Then, wolves came into the villages to search for food in the winter.

In the northern half of the world it is the coldest month while in the southern half of the world it the warmest month.

Peeing(urinating) in your dream and it then manifesting in real life.... Read mine and then share your experiences

On a sunny afternoon in Ota environs, I was on the field playing football with some of my guys. Suddenly, I felt an outburst of energy and soon found myself playing like Blok in Supa Strikas... Anybody that came towards my defence couldn't get through. All the leg overs and snake bites from the other team's strikers came to naught.

Soon enough, the match ended and I was feeling like the man of the match. I saw one old yoghurt man passing by on his  bicycle and sharply bought 100 naira own... drank 2 satchets of water also in quick succession.

Me and my friends were walking down the road back home then I saw I sign at one fence that read 'do not urinate here'

Where will mad people spend their eternity

I travelled down to school today and along the road I noticed quite a number of mentally challenged people.

Co incidentally, today being Sunday... I was travelling and bad boy that I am... I had to reflect on my life and what would happen if I had an accident and passed on.

10 things common with rich people...

Recently, I sat down thinking about how these very rich people act and I begin to wonder, why do they behave this way? Do they do it on purpose, or for show off or its their lifestyle?

Quickly, lets get down to these things:

1) At occasions, they never finish their food or drink: Many at times, these rich people after they have been served nice and sumptious looking meals, they end up leaving a whole piece of meat untouched and virtually half of the rice left on the plate when one random nigg is sitting somewhere starving and has not been served.

2) They never fill their cup with drink: Be it wine o, juice o, spirit or beer.. their glasses are never filled. Worst of all, they sip the drink and the quantity they take to their mouth wont be more than one teaspoonful. And same as above, if they were to be in an occasion, they would never finish that drink.

3) They are almost always late to occasions too: This one is not all the time, but except it is an award ceremony or an occasion where they can be penalized or scolded for coming late, they would be among the last set of people to get there. Especially relatives' parties.

4) They love reading newspapers: This one is exclusive to the men. Even though they have TV at home, PC in the office and maybe a smartphone, they just cannot do without their newspapers. They read it virtually everyday and barely use e-news.

A Short Poem To Describe 2016

Celebs are beefing,
Nigerians are sweeting,
Celebs are tweeting,
Nigerians are watching,
2016 is ongoing,
Disses are flying
Who will save us from this madness,
Have the gods really given us this madness?

Shops in Sango Ota locked over Sanitary Issues

Traders in Sango Ota, Ogun State especially those around the main roads, recieved a new year 'not so nice' visits from the Ogun State Environmental Law Enforcment Agents.

On Monday, the 4th of January, after the New Year's Celebration, traders came to meet white and red stripe tapes in front of their shops and got directives from the sanitation officials not to open their shops due to their dirty environment.

At some parts of Ota, the Quick Response Squad were available on ground to make sure traders complied to this directive.

Below are some photographic evidence of the situation.

Locked and deserted shops.

Some traders got to work and started cleaning their surroundings and packing their gutters while some sat around and were chatting incessantly.

Up to the time of filing this report, the shops in Sango Ota main axis and its environs have remained locked and there have been no news as to when the shops will be opened.

Real Madrid's Manager, Rafael Benitez Has Been Sacked!!!

Rafael Benitez has been relieved of his job as manager of Real Madrid.

The manager has suffered an enduring season at Real Madrid since taking over in June, and while he only finds his side four points off Atletico Madrid at the top of La Liga he has had issues with the team's important players and been condemned for a defensive style of football.

Benitez was also denied the chance for another chance of getting a trophy, the Copa del Rey, after an administrative blunder saw them disqualified for fielding an unqualified player against Cadiz.

The last straw that broke the camel's back: Valencia 2-2 Real Madrid

It leaves the Champions League as their most probable chance of winning a trophy this season, but club president Florentino Perez obviously preferred a change of manager ahead of their round-of-16 match against Roma next month.

A public statement is expected later on today.

Zinedine Zidane - the coach of Real Madrid's second team, Castilla - is expected to take over.

The football legend is understood to privately prefer a summer change and the chance to undertake an entire pre-season but won't turn down the chance to manage the ten-time European champions if, as expected, Perez offers him the job.
